My site

hi everybody!
this is my first post. i just wanted to show you my site and see what you think.
it was a final project for a college class. i didn’t spend a HUGE amount of time on it. i plan on working on it, and keeping it as sort of a portfolio site.

Well for one, it’s obvious that you’ve modeled your site after www.2methods.com

It’s cool that this is for a project, but I suggest you come with your own idea for a portfolio site.

Another problem with the site is that some of the graphics are poor quality and pixelated. Also the text is blurry as well.

Overall I think you got the technical stuff down, you just need to be more creative and come up with your own ideas.

i did get the idea from there, but i tried not to “copy” it.
im not necessarily saying that im gonna keep it 100% that way, but i did like 2methods design alot.

I understand how it’s like when you’re new, my first site was heavily influenced by 2advanced and it took a lot of people to point things out to me. Now I do the opposite and come up with my own style.

I’m not trying to discourage you or anything, just want you to step away from being too much influenced by other peoples designs. Good luck. =)

cool site, but the menu font is jagged. but other then that, i like the tweens. :slight_smile:

I didn’t like the light blue colour on the dropdown menu’s, I would tone them down a little. As Alex said, nice tweens…
