My Tim Horton's Experiment (Canadians Will know)

Hey People,

I figured I’d share something mildly frustrating. As many of you know boredom around the office happens and the littlest things can get your goat. Well, I’ve been upset with a specific Tim Horton’s for screwing me over during their Rrroll up the Rim campaign so I decided to take action. See letter below:

To Whom it may concern,

I’m very upset that during your RRRoll Up the Rim to Win campaign I have to drink coffee from a cup that has had someone’s grubby paws all over the rim because some of the employees can’t help but roll up the rim on nearly every cup. Beginning Tuesday March 1st I decided to keep count of just how many french vanillas I buy and how many of those already had the rim rolled up. I found that 8 of the 9 cups were already rolled up! This is unacceptable.

I spend at least $2.05 everyday on your french vanilla coffees and I’m disgusted nearly everyday when I notice that the rim has already been rolled up. Aside from having my chances of winning a prize squashed, the thought of drinking from a cup that has had someones dirty fingernails pry up the rim makes me sick. I demand you take action specifically with the Tim Horton’s, ******, ****** on ******* and send me 8 new cups with the rim intact. I am not the only one who feels this way about this issue but I am willing to do away with my morning ritual of stopping by the drive thru to spend my $2.05 if this issue isn’t taken care of immediately. I will continue to buy my coffee each morning from Tim Horton’s however if I find one more cup with the rim already rolled up after March 16th you will have lost my business for good. I believe 10 days is more than enough time to rectify this problem.

Also, this has been brought to the attention of the staff at the Tim Horton’s in question and the employee blamed the cups already appearing to be rolled up on the cup dispenser. I find this laughable however in the unlikey evernt that this is truly the case please accept my apologies.

Yours Truly,

Now I’m doubtful that anything will come of this but I’m just wondering how many of you purchase Tim Horton’s coffee and notice that the rim on the cup has been unrolled?

for those who don’t know Tim Horton’s is a huge coffee shop franchise here in Canada. There’s about 1 Timmy’s for every 5000 people I think.
