At fist I thought that it was a moving car but then I noticed the wheels and Photoshop poped into my min right away!

The desert1 pic is cool
I agree… the desert one is pretty cool… great job with the shadow. They can be tricky,
Tips: first off, the shadow you made doesn’t quite match the angle of the other shadows in the photo. Try using two to four layers to make the shadow, ie make one then duplicate the layer a few times, and make eack successive layer a bit smaller than the last (also be sure the layers are pretty trasparent, set this depending on other shadows in the pick.). Then you can link all those layers together and apply a blur filter.
Just some things that may help out. Good work so far! BTW I love how you pointed out the wheels on that pic!

The shadow was already on the original pic so I just masked it out! haha
interesting… why is it at a different angle than the shadow that falls on the stairs in the background? hmmm.
