Hey all.
I could use some advice regarding my portfolio site.
I’m almost finished my portfolio site, which is fully flash with some PHP backend. I’ve recently decided it would be a good idea to also offer an HTML portfolio site for people on slower connections, or who could do without the fanfare of flash motion graphics.
So begins my question:
I haven’t seen too many sites these days that have a user option for flash vs html… is this passe? If so, what other options do I have?
Furthermore my flash site has an interface design that is typical of a flash site (if that makes any sense…) but I’d like to explore a different design path for my HTML site. Would this be ill advised for the sake of keeping things uniform?
