New Graphics Card

Ok so basically my parent said they would buy me a new graphics card for my PC (hehehe…lucky me!).

I need to know two things:

  • What’s the best graphics card avalible atm? Money isn’t a big issue, I don’t want a cheap one, I want (and need for my course) a seriously good one, that will run literaly any game on full quality graphics…as long as it’s not too expensive. I saw that topic on the Nvidia 1gb Dual Core one a while ago? What’s the best around?

  • Can I put one into my PC, heres a pic of the inside of mine:

1 = My current crappy Radeon X550/X600 Seris (256mb) in an AGP slot (I think, pretty sure it’s an AGP).
2 = 3 free PCI slots :stuck_out_tongue:

I can get a PCI card and just shove it streight in there, right? I don’t need to go and buy a whole new motherboard do I? (Current motherboard is an Asus P5LD2).
