New Student

Hi guys, am totally new to programming and i want to get started with web programming specifically javaScript (currently following MDN), could anyone guide me on what i can do best or which materials i can use to get moving considering i have 8hrs a day of learning?
I appreciate as well if anyone would be willing to pair with me in this journey or in mentoring me.

Thanks for your help in advance.

It depends on what you want to use it for and how you like to learn.
What do you want to use it for?

My pick for best learning tools:
Quick playground- RunJS;
Line by line debugger- Quokka JS;
UI prototyping- Stack Blitz;

Thanks Steve.Mills for your response and guide.
I have an idea for a web application for my learning but after learning, i would look in for a job as a front end developer, back-end developer and later advance my career into software development.

The articles here can help: https://www.kirupa.com/learn/index.htm

I would start with the JavaScript 101 content, and do use these forums to ask your questions!

Thank you kirupa for that advice, will definitely get myself busy and present challenges here.
