yes, as lava said, it would be better if you had a background, with white text in my opionion, but a precent preloader like the link above would be nice to. but other then that, your on the right track, 
I don’t like the text on the right. Brings down the quality overall. Add them to the flash file and tone them down a bit. Actually, tone down the whole thing a bit.
Tone down as in use transarency, or use different colors?
The customer like the red white and blue theme. These are American Bulldogs… The text on the right will be added in the flash app. soon… Thanks

I think the colors can be okay, especially if that is what your client wants. You may just want to try some different ways of handling the color. For example, your links on the right - instead of blocking them off in red and blue rectangles, maybe you could use one of the colors (red OR blue) and make the text that color.
Or use outlines (one color) rather than filled in rectangles.
Also, the header the blue gradient almost gets purple as it fades into white. The Red text over the blue is not so easy on the eyes.
Maybe you could try something with an actual flag background, or again use either only the red and only the blue, possibly with white text.
I hope you don’t think I am ripping your site, you have a great start and a good idea of what you want to do with it.
Maybe try working the stars into the rest of the design too.
Keep in mind that just because you want a red white and blue theme does not mean you have to have all three colors in every piece. You can use all 3 seperately or in some more subtle combonations and still achieve some great results.

The whole site kind of has a thrown together feel. It doesn’t really look like you layed it out and then went from there. The navigation needs some type of rollover or animation and if the content is HTML I would recommend opening it in a blank window or a popup. On your HTML pages I wouldn’t recommend underlining your text as it looks like a link. Once you get more up I’ll go from there.
:tie: The outside links will consist of an HTML pedigree and pictures of each animal. The index page and the “puppies” link are going to be the only Flash stuff. Are you all trying to say that the site looks “sloppy” and needs a more “clean” layout? The underlined text will go away this weekend. I will have pedigrees and pics on those pages.
