Get a lawyer. The kid doesn’t stand a chance.

Yes, get a lawyer and a police report to start.

Whiplash = Whipcash $$$$$$$$$$$

^^^. First time drivers get into car accidents = $$ for ya.

AHAHAH i so love that.

:frowning: Take it easy and get well soon

Whiplash isn’t nice…I had some dude rear end me in 2003, my neck/back wasn’t right for months. Slight things can really knock you back. Take it easy for as long as possible.

My insurance company provided me with a solicitor and they done all the medical tests and the following negoiations with the third party insurer. I dunno how different your insurance/legal system is, probably pretty close. but it sounds like you don’t get a lawyer supplied.

As long as you have all his details, he admits fault, which it clearly is, police report is preferable. Then you just have to foot the bill until the claim comes back. Keep all receipts, log time off work, try and do a pain diary too, explain frequency and intensity of pain and also all the things it stops you doing. Try to do it daily, it helps loads in making a claim.

Don’t except a settlement until your fully fit (as long as its finanically viable) as if you back has problems later on and you’ve settled, so there is little comeback

Whiplash isn’t that high on the $ to inconvinience ratio…I got about 2 weeks pay for 3 months of hassel and pain

Sombody a year or so ago crashed into my mum, while she was at the traffic lights and her neck hurt for a while. I dont think she sued, btu we got lots of money from there insurance. So definatly claim insurance.

[ot]Metallica have a good song called whiplash :D[/ot]

Ya whoever is behind is always at fault. You could’ve even backed into them and I bet a court would rule in your favour.

Viva public medicare :angel:

thanks for the HELP GUYS!!! & for the get well wishes!!=)

i’ll keep u updated

get well soon tina!!!
