CHRIST!!
What the hell do I do? At work I spilled some coffee on the laptop! Its not too much, I quickly flipped it over and soaked up the coffee, but I dunno. I have it right now flipped over and letting it dry, anything else I can do?

Have you tried lifting the entire keyboard out? You may find that some of the coffee may seep through the keyboard and dry up inside.
You know, it’s actually safer to spill coffee on a laptop than soda.
Your laptop may still make it through.
Drop some powder sugar in there, it’ll absorb the coffee.
Note: don’t really try this.
I think its not so bad, I took off the harddrive (clean), and the keyboard (stained) but the motherboard looks clean too… tomorow Im thinking that: I need to unscrew the rest of the body and clean the coffee with water…
(Coffee was with milk, and that rusts…)
i spilled water twice on my laptop now and its been okay…
the key is to tip is on its back as soon as you make the spill. leave it like that overnight. it all drains out of the back…turning the power off str8 away is imperative so you dont fry ure components…
I would let it dry out for a few days to a week.
I know lots of people that have spilled stuff on their laptops…they just let them dry and then they worked fine. Of course I also know people that have fried their mobo that way too

yeah just let it dry bro - that’s the only real thing that can hurt the thing is firing up while wet.
In a situation like this I think its best just to set the bosses coffe cup next to the laptop and then walk away.
My mom spilled 16 oz. of water directly into my laptop. I dismantled it completley and let all the parts dry out. It was ok for awhile but the water slowly coroded some of the keyboard contacts. It is nearlly useless now since it makes a terrible beeping noise and crashes alot. In fact I have gone through a laptop a year for 3 years now, I hope this one lasts!
BTW: use denatured alcohol if you can, otherwise use distilled water, and very little. Clean with lint free cloths and qtips. You’ll want to pay close attention to the contacts.
