It’s not my intention to start a “PC vs Apple” flame war here, I just have a quick question about video editing.
There probably isn’t a “best one” in this, but suppose you need a machine to do some heavy video and image editing, what would you pick and why? A G5 (Final Cut Pro) or a P4 (Avid)? Both of them are available with 2 processors of course, but I have no idea which system architecture is best (quicker, more stable).
Also: are there monitors that are better and sharper than those Apple Cinema Displays (which you can use on a PC as well, so I’ve heard)?!
I mean: wow!
