I totally agree 100%. Well, not totally. I’ve always been a Windows user at home and never opted for an Apple. However, I am on the brink of an iMac. Stop me if I’m wrong, but how can you not go wrong with such a practical machine? All my work buddies own an iMac, G4, G5 tower or Powerbook. I’m the only one to resist, and for so long, too. I’m so darn set in my ways. Still, the stupid thing is that I use Mac’s at work most of the time?!?! Anyroad, I have a fairly new workstation that gets the job done for now. But I know I’m in for a breakdown! It’s that time of the month when everything seems to fudge up my garbage. Wait, that didn’t sound right. I meant to say that Windows machines suck most of the time, and progessively get more and more annoying as time goes on. And then you (I) realize that, well, you (I) desperately need an change of scenery.
Just kidding. What can I say? I’m tempted by the fruit of another.

That’s what an Expo like that will do to ya. Sickening, isn’t it? I’m with you. I hate 3D, bigtime. CG? I’m sorry, but what happened to good old brick & mortar special effects?
It’s all crumbled under the iron fist of computer generated junk, that’s what. I dunno? Maybe it’s because my bro is a special effects artist, and I’m not talkin’ CG. Although he’s doing quite well, it’s still a dying craft. Sad but true.
By the way, mel… your site is very nice. Very kewl indeed.

About Apple – it’s like Russia for foreigner – sounds good, but impossible for living. The same with Mac – i have iMac at home, but some time i miss my PC + win 98(!!!) at work. I mean about system work with files… i have not for example Thumb. by images at OS 10, or is not possibly to edit files in “open” window on some programs, on the desktop/finder only…
About 3D – we a not fish wiht protruding eyes ! We have construction of eyes for 2D.

mel - did something happen to the font on the left panel? I am seeing a Times New Roman like font that looks odd with the sharp, pixelly look you have throughout your site
yes, just Times N.R… I was used dynamic text 9 pt. – ok, I was created badly. 12 pt is better! …like on www.melnicomm.com
