I have a vector image of a woman against a white background. I need to place her against an actual environment.
As it was done in Macromedia Freehand, which is utterly useless at any kind of exporting, the only reliable way to get it into photoshop as it is on screen is to do a screen capture, then paste it in.
Problem is, I can’t get rid of the artifacts too much without it digging holes in her.
Can anyone suggest a reliable way of extracting vectors from a white background in photoshop?

PS, I found the ‘extract’ tool of no use whatsoever.
