Photoshop Problem

Hi, I recently re-installed windows and just today I loaded up Photoshop 7 for the first time since the re-install and I’m getting a message that says “Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information”, and it will just close when I click ok on the message box.

So I’m guessing since I re-installed windows my registration info for photoshop has either become corrupted or gone missing.

I know I can just re-install but I don’t have a copy since I was borrowing the version I installed.

So my question is if anyone knows how I can fix this problem either by re-registering or some other method, It would be most appreciated.

i think its because of the registration information is no longer on your computer.

re-installing windows would mean re-installing the registry…

so wouldn’t that cover up old entries made by things like installations?
