Does the Photoshop scratch disk space get freed one Photoshop exits? I’m considering setting Photoshop’s scratch disk to be my SSD, but I’m not a big fan of having it take up space permanently if it’s only going to be used when Photoshop is open.
I guess it’s not a huge amount of space, but there are already several similar files on that drive, like the one that Windows Media Center uses to store its live TV cache and the hibernation file (I consider that to be a waste because I never hibernate my desktop… so I may disable it).
