does anyone a proper way to save out of photoshop into a PDF?

if I have a file thats like 13mb in photoshop, the PDF becomes like 16-17 mb.

I know most people use Illustrator and save and works wonderful, but my illustrator skills are bad.

so does anyone know a good setup? without alotta image loss quality.

You can go … File>Print , then on the bottom left there should be a PDF drop down menu where you can select Save As PDF, Dont think you loose any quality?

^ yep print to pdf is the way for photoshop to pdf, lose of quality you will only see if you select ‘lowest file size’ from the default presets. Otherwise most of the presets there set a high jpg compression to images in the document and it result in what seems like a loseless file at a smaller file size.

I am almost certain that you are not going to reduce file size with photoshop to pdf, since it uses a jpg/zip image compression.

Illustrator saving to pdf saves kilobytes because it embeds fonts and redraws text everytime you open the pdf, and in general artwork saved as vectors will generate a much smaller filesize.

You should really learn Illustrator, it’s a real pleasure to work with !
