I havn’t seen pixel work on this forum that much, so I thought I’d try to change that… I got into pixels two days ago, and here is my favorite piece I’ve made:

If you didn’t notice, it’s based on the movie Evil Dead. About 15 minutes ago I started work on a Underground pixel pic… There’s still alot of work to do, but here it is:

yeah it seems like the pixel trend comes and goes, and then resurfaces again when you least expect it…

For being 2 days, those are some very good pixel art pieces. I especially like that you are doing scenes, not too many people bother with going all out and doing entire scenes… though that is what makes pixel art so fun!

BTW: Pixel art was a HUGE trend a while back. I think Eilsoe kicked it off with his creation of a lot of the smilies used here at the forum.

Sintax321 then added fuel to the fire by created the whole Pixel People trend where people would create pixel versions of themselves… here is what I created from that…

Then there was the trend of people creating pixel apartments for Mr. Wong’s Soup’Partments. I never did finish my entry though…

I was an original beta tester, but my unfortunate lack of time left me with none to invest in this project… sigh I’m really glad to see it’s progressing so well though.

Wow, I had no idea it was so popular… I just found out about mr. WOngs appartments yesturday, but he stopped it now, so I can’t really do anything about that… I love the pixel stuff you made, and you’re right about pixeling being so much fun… And long… I have a new respect for ms Paint.

Yeah, I was sad when I finally decided to finish my apartment and saw Mr. Wong had closed the project. Killed my motivation so I never finished it.

I still use Photoshop for my pixel art, because I like being able to use layers, helps make modifications easier by keeping everything seperate.

I look forward to seeing more of your pixel art sir. Good luck with it, and keep it alive! Pixel art rules!

Yes, I will keep it alive ( even though sites like Habbo Hotel, and stuff like that will put up a better fight)!
