Hello everyone
I’m new to Flash CS3 and have a question that i cant seem to find the answer to anywhere else on the net or explained here yet.
I have a website, the index page needs to play a short SWF intro video and once the video is done playing, load the home page which is an HTML in the same browser window. The video is converted from a MOV file.
I have the Video on the Stage and it plays fine, what do I do next?
What I’ve Tried:
I have 2 layers, the video layer which takes up 570 frames. AND a layer for the Actions, I have tried entering the code: getURL(“http://mysite.com/home.htm”) on the last frame of the Actions Layer and in separate attempts; a Key-frame in the Actions Layer at frame 570 and 571 with the same code. I export the SWF with the default settings.
When I load the swf url into my browser it just plays the video and loops, nothing else happens.
