Interesting Point about the China thing, how some people are practically imprisoned in slave labor camps… i guess the only difference between that and prison life in America is a little thing called innocence. Lord knows the pay is not much different (pennies a day)
And, i never said i believe all of this, i just found it interesting and therefore wanted to get different opinions…
I do like the way that this information was delivered, because all of the ghastly things that were/are done seem like horrible crimes that would most likely be perpetrated by Evil German Nazi’s or Communist China, but not ‘Democratic’ America.
As far as this being written from the standpoint of hating america, i can see that, but i think the authors intent was not to question americas activities, but more to shed light on the hypocracy of a war on terrorism… It’s basically to remind people who apparently think that the U.S.'s ‘Sh*t doesn’t stink’ that we aren’t so innocent oursleves…

Take for instance Americas ‘War on Drugs…’
The only purpose of this War on Drugs, which is really another way of saying the government is warring with its own people, is to keep the prices of drugs high, so that those who control the flow and the money, (The US & British Gov’t) make more of it. And with a war on drugs, those corrupt american officials and british officials as well can ‘legally’ terminate any competition.

now i know why the costs of education are always rising…
Here’s a side story about education: our local community college went under, because of bad financial planning on behalf of the board members. They lost millions of dollars out of the budget, two consecutive years in a row. The first time they were fined a quarter of the cost of the missing money (haha) The second time, when twice as much money was missing, the state decided to take over the local college.
Now even though enrollment had been at an all time high, they cut back on staff, and decided to double the tuition costs. As if it wasn’t costly enough for the minimum wage making students… Keep in mind these students have a hard time paying these fees as it is, and could never afford a university without being a rabies infected, crippled, retarded burn victim/vietnam vet of minority descent. All of this leads me to lose hope, in everything, because i see how as a race, humans are f*cked on so many fronts…

The way that i have come to understand, largely through the lectures of Noam Chomsky, is that we are strangling them, and have been for most of americas history since the british prevented us from expanding our empire to the cuban islands in the 19th century…
