Post here: users tutorials

Many PPL dunno those stuff. thanx m8!

No problem, I didn’t know about it until 7.0, that is why I don’t know if this exists or works in Photoshop 6.0 :-\

Hey Lost, please update the first thread of this page when you or other people submit tutorials.

**Pom, if you want, you can send me the PHP tutorial you wrote a year ago. **

Could i know more about this tutorial ilyas!

yours,
–h88

What post are you quoting, h88??

Anyway, that was a very simple tutorial. Basically, you have 3 textfields, you fill the first 2 with numbers, you press a button, the variables are sent to a PHP script that adds them and then returns them, and the 3rd textbox displays the result.

I should probably redo that. Or maybe you can cover this in your tute, h88. Btw, are you gonna use loadVars or loadVariables? You might have to do both… :-\

lost, how did you fade out the rest of the menu’s on your tut? i like it a bunch! maybe you can write a tut on that!?

lost, let me guess, you took the marquee tool, highlighted what you needed, put it on a new layer, then faded the fill of the other ones?

ill use LoadVars offcourse, y should i cover the old one when it seems that loadVars is more powerful

Hey mdipi, the fade effect is simple, use the marquee tool to select your area… then go to Select/Inverse, this will select the outside of your current selection, create a new layer, fill with white, change the opacity of the white

well i was close eh? cool effect though.

nah, my tut wont cover urs, cuz am talking about another php script, btw, should i explain my PHP script too, i mean am explaining it Roughly, but more into flash coding!

What about covering loadVariable method, do u mean for flash 5 users?

i may do another extension later for flash 5 users, but right now am working on flash MX version!

Yeah, I meant loadvariables for Flash 5 users (David is gonna kill you if you don’t do that :P) but the loadVariables version is more important.

Looking forward to reading that, man

LOL, u want to c that, anyways, i won’t get finished until i finish my tests, am right now playing with prototypes, i did one already that let u play yar movie backwards, i dunno, but i think that one is considered a trick. :-\

Alrighty guys, after much time wasting on my part, I’ve finally got my act together and whipped up a quick animation tutorial.

Thats very cool.

Except the .fla file in there is wrong. It ought to be this one…

nice kit! we really needed that one!

hey Kirupa! Are there any 3dsmax tutes around? if so where are they? I might try making some! (-: I need to know which ones you already have and which ones are needed!

Thanks Syko.

It’s one I’ve been meaning to write for ages, just never got started. Finally I got off my butt and wrote it.
