I used to use the adress bar in the taskbar all the time too… dont know why I dont anymore. Guess i just thought it took up to much space. But I had all my apps open with a 3 char command I could easily enter in the address bar to open (some install with one like aim, others don’t so if you want that you’d have to edit the registry). It was great because anything opened with 4 clicks on the keyboard or (often) dropping down the address bar to access recent entries i.e. recent programs as to act like another start menu in a way :wink:

How can you people live with yourselfs ?
I guess I may be a little anal retentive, but note 2 things.

I have no desktop background, and have no programs running in my system tray.
(this includes any under msconfig)

backgrounds, hidden processes, and programs in the system tray all suck up memory and slow the computer down.

boring.

You have to spice up your computer, waste some memory!
