So, I was surfin’ around IGN the other day, and they claim that PS3 is coming out in November, yet if memory serves me right Sony said it was coming in Spring… And then September… Anyone else a little miffed that they keep pushing it back?
My local newspaper did an article on it saying that this will only decrease the sales in other games as people are buying less and less video games/consoles as they await the Revolution and PS3.
Thoughts, Comments, Chow Mein?
Please share all of the above.
EDIT: They have some other information about the PS2 and PSP… some cool details there as well.
Bill Gates promised that Microsoft owned game developer Bungie would have Halo 3 ready the day of PS3 launch, they are now where near close to being done and have been back peddling ever since, they must be happy for their new found breathing room.
Blu-ray is being held up by…you guessed it Microsoft. I read it somewhere… don’t ask… But it’s holding up PS3 dev because they are still debating how to do the anti-piracy crap. It’s frustrating.
how is it holding it up, if blu-ray technology is already available to the Japanese public? its been out in japan sense november 2005…so i don’t think thats the reason.
No he’s right, it is because of the DRM crap. At least that’s what Sony wants us to think - we all know that it’s because the hardware and software for the PS3 aren’t ready.
May I ask where are you getting this bogus information from? MS has nothing to do with blu-ray they dont even support it, and they dont definitely support PS3 in any way.
The only thing MS is doing is not making Vista compatible with Blu-ray out of the box but third party developers can create driers to make it work so MS has nothing to do with it.
Sony is just looking for excuses for their own screw ups.
