Dunno if some of you already know this but the reason of the PS3 delay is due to a shortage if Blue LED’s … Ok so how many do they need have they got over a million switches and lights? is the inside all lit up to holds it glory and waste a large amount a power?

theyre having so many issues that they delayed the release of their blu-ray players for the third time again so they could launch the PS3 and they said they probably won’t reach their 3million consoles lanched by years end.

I don’t play games on PS or anything, but I’ve to agree with you. This whole year Sony got slapped on face from almost every big company. 
And now all this.

Ehh… if they hold off some more they will technically be the first for the next next generation consoles. And most likely the Nintendo next next generation will run at the same exact speed :lol:.

lol, I still have some faith for Sony. But I wont be one of the oens that goes out and buys the PS3 on day one. Im going to wait and see who wins the format wars (HD DVD or Bluray)

It seems like the sooner we close in on the release date of the PS3 everyone is jumping into these forums like lunitics. Talking about more delays and so forth, it’s almost impossible for anyone to really know what is going to actually happen with the PS3 when November 17nth gets here. One thing that we have noticed here at RPJ Studio is that eventhough the PS3 has more negative publicity at the moment, it’s still publicity and in this industry publicity is key, no matter if it is positive or negative. By the time the PS3 really does release it will already be the most talked about gaming console (computer gaming systems) of the next generation. Such websites/ organizations as IGN, 1UP, and other gamer’s informational sources, even though they are considered completely ligit and because of their status with their audience/ viewers, people are very likely to believe anything they have to say about the consoles of today. Most of these organizations claim that they poses an inside source that supplies them with the “exclusive” news that they provide us as viewers. Some of these organizations may be truthful, but in most senarios, they are just using the hype of the PS3 as a way to attract people’s attention. It is in short, their way of marketing, and everytime a viewer buys into the BS they have succeeded in there marketing strategies. We can not tell you much ourselves about the PS3 system, mostly due to legal reasons, but what we can tell you is that the PS3 will for sure be released November 17nth of this year and the prices listed on playstation.com’s website are all final, atleast for the North American region. Some forums also speak about some of the hardware in the PS3 maybe being cut from the console to again lower the price. Just to make another thing clear. This information that was leaked to the public is old information. These people got ahold of this information late. This is something that has already been done before the release date and the prices of the PS3 were released to the public several months ago.
Basically what we want to leave you all with in this forum is a greater piece of mind. Understand that websites and website owners are ran in the same fasion of a business. You can not believe everything that you hear and although the source may seem 100%, in the end you can only turn to the company that owns the consol for accurate and truthful information. Most of you probably won’t even pay attention to this post, but atleast those of you that are smart enough to look past the media crap can live with a better piece of mind. Thank you and for any further accurate information about the PS3 please refer to playstation.com. If they are going to have a delay or some as drastic, they will let their consumers know.
