can someone tell me the way to publish a flash file with the smoothing turned off, so there will be no antialiasing of my text because it makes it look all blurry.

But if you are using a font that isn’t on others computers you have to embed the character outlines… You can do this in the properties window of the text box there will be a button that says “Character…” and this embeds the font outline. But this causes anti-aliasing.
So pretty much, if you are using an odd font, you are stuck with anti-aliasing.

yeah, I wondered if that was the cause so I guess I will try and use the stock system fonts instead.
