How come when I try and make a motion tween like with lines for a website, they get all screwed UP!!! It works and al it just like combines them after the first motion tween.

well I think you have to animate each line on different layers! But I think It can be done by masking too! Search fot tutes! 
try using a shape tween, because motion tween, well, tweens the motion of the object. if you try resizing the line using motion tweens, the line may get bigger, but not longer. try shape tweening.
yeah im using shape tween… but i dont understand the layers, like i cant start it where the other ended its weird
