hey guys, this is realy weird! my computer was working fine last night, and when i turned it on today, it was all weird! it looks just like safe mode… the colors are weird and it is at lowest resolution. i tried going to active desktop, and properties and tried changing the colors and resolution but it still doen’t work!
can anyone help me? does anyone know what i might be?

its a driver problem. thats all i can tell you and i doubt youll get a reply out of anybody else, for you see, we are trying to conquer the world
make sure that your video card is ok. it might have fried out last night. open the case and make sure the circuit is clean. then check the system manager to make sure that its installed correctly. If everything is ok, I would invest in a new video card.
I suggest getting Windows XP. Or 98. I heard (I know) that ME sucks.
Do what Jubba said, check your vid card.

Well, it’s graphics heavy! So I just set it to 1024x768 with the ‘classic’ look. I love it. everything is so much better about it.
Plus is has something… security. yeah. something ME has never heard of.
hey guys, i only have one question… when i install new windows, does all the stuff erease or do i have to reformat or anything? because my very very crappy computer’s burning drive doesn’t work, and i don’t have money to buy XP 
OMG! I have ME installed and I hate it. Im getting a new computer for Christmas, so I plan to wait it out and install XP on both computers. 
But i have been through the pain and suffering that ME provides.

windblows micro$uck idiots will claim that you can install windblows over top of your exsisting microcrap OS, and everything will be holly jolly. i would reccomend instead, getting all your data backed up in whatever way you can, even if it means uploading it to the web temporarily, and reformatting and doing a clean install. otherwise you can almost bet on having problems. winblows XP = a fairly decent, moderately tolerable OS
winblows 98 2nd ed. = most stable micro$uk OS, fairly decent, moderately tolerable
yeah, what golgi said. A lot of people I know have lost a lot of data by trying to install XP over existing OSes.

macs = poopy imo. i used to be an avid mac promoter, till pcs caught up in the art category, and now i’m guilty of treason i guess
and i dont use linux cuz even thoguh it’s the bestest, i don’t have the PhD required to use it. haha, jk. but the truth of the matter is it doesn’t have the softwares i need for what i do. so until it does, i’m like a half drowned shipwreck victim with the only piece of driftwood labeled “micro$uk”
Most stable MS OS i’ve found is win2k… I’ had a lot of trouble with XP over the last few weeks on a system i was fixing for my sister…
It was ME and worked fine… It would not upgrade to XP pro so i had to format and do a clean install. Then XP would not start all the time…

yea guys thanks! i really really appreciate it! but i’m only 13 so i don’t have a job to get money for anything, the only way i get stuff is after my birthday. so i am gonna have to moe some extra lawns to get some money or something.
so u guys think i should get win. 95 or xp?
