I’m not sure you can define Red Dwarf as being of a specific genre, it’s setting is outer space, but it’s definitely NOT Star Trek. It’s more like Blakes 7 meets Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
It’s English humour at it’s best, truly it is. Red Dwarf is an absolute classic.
