Its cool I have seen this nav scheme used quite a few times. Must be a component or open source out there floating around.
Flashkit used to offer it open source, but I believe these people developed it.

Yea, revelare was the first place I saw this nav at. I think in 2003.

repeating what has been said: i believe that revelare was the first to achive success with this style of navigation. They may not have been the first to design it, but I’m pretty sure they were the first to be recognized as successful with it.
