Not really a Flash question, but maybe you know how to send Flashs in HTML-emails, so that they are displayed in Outlook and Thunderbird. Is it possible? If so send me an email to alexander [at] dom.de
thx
sry alla, this is not what i searched for I want to send Flashs inline with Emails, so the user can watch it IN the mail, without connection to any external sources.
I know almost everything about Mails since I wrote a HTML-Newsletter in PHP, but dunno if it’s possible to insert Flashs.
Are you talking about e-news letter something like that ( where you will embed the flash movie?). If it yes, then to answer your question is, as far as I know, you can’t. There’s something to do with Active X control in your e-mail program.
I’ve been trying to do this long ago with no luck, so I could be wrong if someone else successfully done this.
sorry to crash the post, but wondered if you guys could give me some pointers with creating e-newsletters with html/php content esspetially now that XP SP 2 stops all external links?
Thanks
There is a program called group email I used before and works like a charm. Search through google.
Thanks Beebs, having done a search as you suggested it seems that this software is more for organising the mail lists etc rather than actually creating the emails. If so I have already managed to create HTML newsletters but what I’m after really is the best way to get round the Spam issue as they are only sent to clients which have asked to be subscribed hence not spam. I’ve tried a few versions and basically trying to find a way for the newsletters not to end up in the spam bin or have red x were they link to remote images (XP sp2) I saw that
Alex had put in his thread that he had done a php newsletter and wondered if this was a more efficient way?
