  2. Include the URL and your email address.

Only the webmaster/creator of the site can submit.

  3. Submissions must be actual websites with sections and content. Examples of ineligible include (but not limited to) flash games, movies, etc.

  4. There will be a private poll among the moderators and a winner will be announced.

  5. No critiques or feedback is allowed in the submission thread. If you wish a concentrated critique of your site, you may start a thread in Site Check. However, mod critiques will be posted when a winner has been selected.

For more information or questions, please refer to the Official SOTW Rules. Once you have read and understand the rules above, you may submit your site to this thread. Sites not adhering to the rules above will be disqualified and deleted. Submitting your site is an agreement and acceptance of the rules.

Congratulations to **seraph **for winning this week’s SOTW! You will be featured on the main page of kirupa.com for this week. You may also post a graphical award from this page: http://www.kirupa.com/gallery/awards.htm

Good job to all the participants. One of the valuable aspects of SOTW is to get valuable feedback about your site and get an idea of how well it stands beside some of the best on the web. Mod critiques will be posted shortly.

I received a Page Cannot be Displayed message shortly after visiting your site, for I think your server may have gone out. From what I was able to see though, your site is really good. The transitions are clever and simple, and color scheme is nice and consistent. The navigation is a bit confusing, for you may want to have an option where important sections of your site can be accessed without hovering over your logo.

rkdesign
Great splash page! The layout, colors, images, and transitions are well implemented. The text is legible and presented nicely. Great site!

jenesaisquoi
The color use seems to be a little too light. The background image does not flow nicely with the main content animation. I see an abrupt change from your HTML bg image to the content, and that detracts a bit from the total visual aspect of the site. Besides the color and image issue, your site is good.

jasninder
Really cool transitions and effects on your splash page! Overall, your site is good. You may want to avoid using a pop-up for your Flash version, or you may want to inform visitors that you will be using a pop-up.

themonitor
Really nice site. The shapes and moving background reminds me a bit of the old turtleshell site =) Overall the site was good, but I really didn’t find a need for the Flash animation. It seems like the most important portion of your site was HTML. So, while your site is really good, it falls a bit short of the SOTW Flash content required.

laindez
Nice use of the orange color, but the navigation was very difficult without some experimenting. It took me a while before I realized that hovering over the people will take me to the other sections.

iloveitaly
Nice site, but I addressed a few of the concerns in your previous critique. Some of the transitions took a little too long to finish, but overall, a really nice site.

plasmic steve
This is a great site. Reminds me a little bit of the old FI site! The colors, the navigation, and the artwork are really good. The changing facial expressions to the vector-version of Steve Spatucci is a nice touch!

seraph
Great colors, great transitions, interesting content, and a unique concept. Congrats =)

itworks
The site is very clean and professional, and the use of pixel-ness is really good! Great work.
