I need get this off of this PC!
My work PC is a lowly P3 or 2 @ 400Mhz, so to run all the protective stuff is a nightmare…
I need to find a way to kill this spyware…
Its a simple thing!
Just tries to change my search page in IE…

Doesnt stop!
I think its just redirecting the same page across diferent DNS’s…
I’ve run scan with: (all recent and updated)
- Ad-aware
- SpyBot
- Ms AntiSpyware
Nothing even comes close to finding this thing…
I dunno what to do!
Its not a virus! No dmg is being done!
Its some sorta *ware! Whatever u wanna call it!
I cant give u the page 'cause i cant remember it, since its always changing…
Its always some big amount of random letters!
In case ur wondering I have eTrust AV…
And a firewall…
The computer sometimes is used by a normal person… u know! No IT knowledge at all!
I’m a computer technincian, so getting technical on ur answers isn’t a problem! Or editing registry, or anything! Just start saying things to help!
SpyBOT indicates it as a search bar… Although I’ve never seen said search bar… Except some stupid bar that appears outside of IE and it seems to be a page that I havent looked at yet! I always just shut it off! Maybe it doesnt really go away… Task Manager doesnt indicate it as running…
I need to kill this before i just want to format the computer!
