ok, my sister is a lot younger than me (I’m 28 and she’s 15) and on Sunday, because she’s been studying hard for exams, my folks have agreed to let her go clubbing.
In Scotland they do this unique thing (not sure if it’s the rest of the UK) but some nightclubs will open at say 4 or 5 and let people under the legal age in, but the club won’t serve any alcohol, and then they close at 9, tidy up and then open for regular at 9:30 or 10 (only some clubs though, not all of them). Hence the name ‘the unders’. Drug taking is a problem at these things so is b*****ds with the date rape drug.
Now…I know my folks have probably had a birds & bees talk with her but I know they won’t have spoken to her about drugs (cause they never did with me). So shes hanging out with me all day Saturday I was going to sit her down and discuss drugs with her…
Do you think this is something I should leave to my folks, something she might listen to me more than she would our parents or do you think I should just leave the subject completely???
