I know this has probably been asked 1,000 times but in your opinion what is the best book to buy to learn action script? And in your opinion why is it the best. I am tired of sucking at action script.
I never opened a flash book for learning, but everyone tells me Moocks is the absolute best, not only in terms of completeness but in terms of clearity and straightfowardness.
that is a great reference book. I would strongly suggest actionscripting by Philip Kerman… there is also called Visual Actionscript (or something of the like).
i have ActionScript for Flash MX: The Definitive Guide, 2nd edition by Colin Moock
It’s a really nice book… whether your using it because your an actionscript beginner or if you just want to use the reference guide… it’s indespensible really…
I bought the Flash MX Designer’s Actionscript Reference by Friends of Ed…
It has helped me a lot lately…
