The purple or blue glow on the text is not working for me, I would also slow(text) it down some.

Jared Hendrix is a god awful public speaker, so that video is pretty painful, and town hall style meetings are just *always *unorganized, rambling affairs full of stammering amateurs - which makes them tedious at best if you actually care about the issues. When it’s 3,000 miles from you? Preeettty hard to watch.
The content kinda trumps your editing and such, but the editing seems good!

The audio is a little off, I think that the DivX compression did that as it was straight when I rendered it out as an AVI. The audio setup was atrocious in the auditorium, and the **** acoustics and background murmuring didn’t help much.
I happen to be one of those stammering amatuers :lol: (second to last on the Taxpayers vs Tim Kaine vid).
Jared (a friend of mine), myself and a few other folks are going to be attending Toastmasters meetings soon, too, as we HAVE to beef up our skills at public speaking - I think that we did okay for public speaking noobs.
The text scroller on the Taxpayers vs Tim Kaine vid does need to slow down, and toning down the glow -
maybe just replacing it with either a stroke or white text over a colored strip would be better.

Tell Jared to slow down, speak up, stand up straight, and to look out at the audience, not down at his notes. Pauses are fine, and during pauses, he should get his head up. Furtive glances at the audience from beneath those bushy brows does not count as ‘eye contact’ - it’s a whole body thing.
If he does just a couple of those he’ll be much better.
