does anybody know how I can create dynamic thumbnails when only rollover action by the mouse will reveal the picture behind the patterns such as in the website below
Make a button, double click on it. Put your image that you want shown on the ‘over’ state of the button. Then (what I would do), put your image on the ‘up’ state, convert it to a movieClip by selecting it and hitting F8, then, when your movieClip is selected, there will be a ‘color’ option, there’s brightness, tint, alpha, etc. Adjust those to your liking. Then you can make your ‘down’ state whetever you want (same image, what have you), then the ‘hit’ state will be the size of whatever you have there so you dont have to put anything there.
Man, I wish I knew about Kirupa when I started in Flash! I wouldn’t have this fractured skull and broken keyboard.
