Err…, the website hasn’t been updated to show it, but it’s coming today. (I suppose being in London and Africa makes times quite a bit different. :P)
The beta was extremely stable, and works really well. I’ve been using it in a lot of places. My only complaint was the auto-config with Xorg when not using safe-graphics; it couldn’t be setup correctly, and I couldn’t go to TTY1 to fix it like I could in other versions (and in Debian).
Other than that, this is the first version of Linux I’d feel comfortable about giving to somebody that knows nothing about computers. It is that easy.
