Ubuntu 9.04 was released a few days ago. I’ve been running it since the beta, and it seems very stable. Most noticable to me is the improved boot time, which seems to be much faster (although I have no numbers on this, I noticed it before I even read that it had changed). Also new, GNOME 2.26 including a newer Brasero (CD-burner application) and some other boring things.
