ive looked at the sites in their sigs and they are all under construction, so non of the have portfolio.
Funny, i think DDD and Simp are probably two of the best designers on Kirupa. Oh well…

. But I am not going to have a pissing contest with anyone. All you tried to do was publicize your buddy and you suceeded. next time just post it in the right section (and dont spam). You went wrong when you posted it in KS, then even went further wrong with how you titled it. Then went over board when you bragged about his skills in a developers forum filled with starving artists. This thread was doomed from the jump.
my bad, definitely thought it was your site based on previous experience w/people posting their own sites in the kool sites section.
you need to understand that critiquing art and making it are different beasts. i can’t sing a lick, but i could easily rattle off a list of 50 musicians that suck. in that same way, some people can’t design websites, but they are great at critiquing them.
however, i wouldn’t recommend challenging everyone’s portfolio (especially simp and ddd, i don’t know about defective b/c he/she hasn’t been around that long). it’s a waste of everyone’s time and will get you nowhere.
you ridiculed his site and i’m just asking to see some of your work, whats the prob? no he’s not my alternate identity, but im not gonna sit back and let people say bad things. i think it’s a cool site, if you dont think so, well either don’t respond or just say you dont think so, there is no need for the rudeness and the jokes. hey what can you expect from this place though
