Ok I’ve been trying to accomplish something along these lines but I’m not really sure if I’m grasping the right concepts, so I’m hoping to toss some ideas up and see if anyone can respond and provide some direction. I’d like a little menu that’s does something when the user roll’s over or clicked. ( you can see it here www.z-netics.com/prep/test.htm )This is what I’ve created as a kind of interface. ( with fireworks )Now what I’m trying to do is have the bars rotate or switch sides something fancy, now using flash what would I have to do? I’ve got a basic understanding but I’m not sure what I will need layer wise and actionscript wise. Do I need to create small movie clips of the bars doing what I want then apply them were I needed. Have a layer for the buttons, have the buttons goto a scene or frame play and a layer for the animation; I’m just not sure how I can structure this bad boy. If some reads over this can offer some support please do it will be greatly appreciated.
