Using your Sliding Menu tutorial

I am trying to recreate your sliding menu tutorial dated for February 19, 2006. I tried to adjust it two ways:

  1. by rotating the buttons to the top and have the actions occur underneath the buttons
    and
  2. replicating exactly what you have but on a larger scale

I follow everything step by step but once I compete every step, the movement isn’t there (unlike when I kept your original size and it did work). So I’m guessing I’m missing some sort of code in the actionscript.

I would prefer to rotate the buttons so they are on top, what do I need to do to the ActionScript to make this work out? Also my scale of the content is 700x347.

Also I was wondering, when you create a button, do you use the name inside the convert to symbol inside the actionscript or is it the name that you type on the properties section?
