I finally donwloaded a copy of Windows Vista RC1 today, and installed it and couldn’t wait to start playing around. To get the full benefits of the new GUI and graphics I decided to download and install ATI Catalyst Beta Driver for Windows Vista RC1. However, after the installation being complete and then restarting the system after being prompted to, Vista, once it gets past the loading screen, blue screens on me. It says that the device driver got stuck in a infinite loop. After this the system restarts on it’s own in a matter of seconds and this is repeated over and over again. I cannot access Vista RC1 anymore, unless it is in safe mode. Selecting the option to boot up in the last known good configuration does not work either.
My system specs:
CPU - Pentium 4: 2.8GHz
RAM - 512MB
HD - 160GB Seagate
Graphics Card - ATI Radeon x1300 (512MB)
As far as I can tell, my system supports Windows Vista.
If anybody’s got any ideas on how to solve this problem, let me know. Thanks.
