Vote for The Best Entry!

Hey, I just noticed one of my entries got a vote  I thought mine were still at 0. Wonder who voted for mine :o :q: :x

yeah mines got 1 vote too

I haven’t voted yet tho, can’t decide

I voted…but I am not saying for who

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

And no, it wasn’t for myself… I am not greedy

It’s not fun voting for yourself… :-\

That’d be like cheating!! :pirate:

Nah, it’s not cheating… it is just being cheap.

Although I don’t know many people like this… I am the kind of person where even if I felt my entry was the best (which I never feel), I would still vote for someone else.

of course!

me 2…

Haha, my best friend/bro thinks like that too! :beam:

I really wouldn’t mind knowing who voted for me…!

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind who voted for me either…

Haha, we are such hypocrites :beam:

Didn’t you two vote for yourselves? or were the other entries too good for you to resist. :elderly:

You guys aren’t fooling anybody, muhahahaaaa!!:stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll voice my opinion, which won’t be very popular with some, but here it goes. I don’t think that supersatori’s entry is really qualified to win/enter this particular contest. Don’t get me wrong, the work is impressive, but I fail to see how this is grid work. All other entries have code that focuses on some sort of action with the grid itself. I thought that was the purpose of the contest.

Sorry, Satori. This is not a personal attack. I would personally vote for you if the contest was about some other form of actionscript.

k… Im done…

no prob montoya
the rules say

The central focus is a grid. The animation should contain a grid and some cool effects using it or surrounding it.
so I just made a spider walking on a grid
there’s a grid and a (sort of) cool effect so IMHO it’s enough
because you see, basically it’s much harder to create grids walking on spiders, but I can give it a try if you wish me to

indeed, the little something walks on the nodes of the grid

so do I :smirk:

Nice try, Inigo. I appreciate the support. :stuck_out_tongue: But don’t worry, I’ll bribe 5 people to vote for me, gnark gnark gnark.

As I mentioned, Satori… no problem on the personal level. I would love to dissect that bug myself and try some other stuff… opinions vary, that’s why we have this forum.

lost that gradient one was awsome! i almost voted for it, but found another one that was so amazing. sorry. it was very good though.

Thanks mdipi. I don’t mind that you didn’t vote for mine, I participated for fun.

It was me who voted Lost!

I was very fascinated about your easing stuff so I vote for you. supersatori’s work is great too but I didn’t like the way it zoomed in. I didn’t quite appreciate it since I could only see the partial part of the walking on grid thingie =)

comicGeek

ps. how did you make your footer so close to the horizontal line? My footer is so far below thehorizontal line.

maybe I should have added a few comments but I’m not very fond of usability ^^) try to move you mouse comicGeek  _y postition controls the zooming, and _x position controls how fast the zooming occurs
