Trust me people. I am not hosting any huge files as this just wastes my bandwidth. I do products reviews on my site, have forums, articles, and latest IT news. It’s almost like what kirupa does on this site.

What does that supposed to mean? So a person with a little popular site can’t discuss the stats and stuff here.
Phil, if you really need to see it then he can PM the URL to you to be viewed at your own leisure.
Who ever wants to view his site can PM him for the URL, I have no problem with that.
He can continue posting his stats, but something is a bit fishy here…
My site is four months old and since I do product reviews they get posted on HardOCP and rarely Anandtech. And other websites also link to me. I am not a professional designer or coder like many of you guys here. I will post the link in couple days.

Feel free to discuss and post your stats, if you’re not trying to gain hits then not posting a link to your site wouldn’t be a problem.
I don’t have a problem as I wasn’t posting the link to my site for couple more days anyways but I got offended when you said “Something is a bit fishy here” and “I might get more negative comments.”
You mind explaining that.
I apoligize if I’ve offended you, but please understand that we’ve had our share of spammers coming here creating threads creating publicity to gain traffic.
I’m not saying that’s what you’re doing, but I’m just being cautious.

edit: oh and btw i think your full of it, if your site gets that much traffic, then chances are someone would have came across it already, so why be affraid to post a link anyway.

Hm…from the way I see it, this is exactly how he gets people to go on his site: he says all these things about the site without actually posting it, which creates hype, but once it does get posted there’s gonna be a greater flux of people than just by posting it right off the bat.
Whether or not that is what you’re doing, i’m kinda interested to see why you get so many hits every month =)
btw, just a quick question: How old are you?
cause you know, sometimes people won’t take let’s say, a 16-year old seriously when it comes to this kind of stuff.
hardwarenewbie, don’t take it personal. It isn’t everyday we have someone come here and claim they have a site that has traffic that rivals that of Google.
So I’m sure you can see why everyone is curious and skeptical. =)
In that case I will never post a link to my site here or PM is to anyone just so that people won’t think I am creating all the hype. If you post links you get in trouble, if you don’t post links you still get in trouble. What can a person do here?
EG you must be really mistaken. Google doesn’t receive 25GB of traffic. Google probably server terabytes of traffic per day and my site only receives 25 gigabytes of traffic every month.
I don’t think I have to explain why I get so many hits on my site as many of you are much experienced webmasters than me but lemme take a moment to explain it anyways.
Hits is not how you would count your traffic. Hits doesn’t mean the number of visitors I get every month. 2 million visitors is a lot and I would need dedicated servers and stuff and I would be spending a lot more bandwidth than 25 gigabytes. As you can see I got around 21,000 visitors in Oct. Since I do product reviews I tend to have around 25 pictures along with explanations in one review. If I have 13 pictures on page along with all the text, that means that I got 14 hits in total alone from one visitor. So if the person viewed entire 10 pages of my review then I probably got around 100 hits from him alone.
Do you see a pattern here or shall I further expain?

I bet most of you already knew that but I got really shocked when you said that I receive traffic as much as Google. Even if I worked my entire lifetime working on the site and adding content, I would never be able to compete with Google. Google is like the top 4th website in the world.
hardwarenewbie, one thing you’ll need to realize is that people around here are very sarcastic, which I’m sure you know what that is already, but I’m shocked to see that you’re taking things so serious and personal. 
My site is definitely not TomsHardware. Once again, tomshardware is a corporate site and they are biased as h***. They are not 4 months old. So no I am not talking about Tomshardware. His owner is already used to getting flamed and besides do you think that I would have time to come to a site and post about my site here when I am not even going to share the link to my site.
**Why are you guys so confused about hits and traffic? It seems to me as though spending 25GB bandwidth is a lot. You guys have no true idea of how much bandwidth can a site get? (no offense to anyone)
