Tom Scott just posted again after his break, and this video is basically a quick update on what he’s been up to and how he wants to approach YouTube now.

It mostly shows that consistency is easier to sustain when the cadence matches the actual workload, and the useful signal will be whether he keeps posting on the looser schedule he described.

For tech focused content, it is more challenging since AI has eaten everything up. Outside of interviewing AI leaders, I am not sure there is a future for technical educational content. I’d like to be proven wrong of course
