What I've been up to! (aka why no updates?!)

Hi everybody - just wanted to post a quick update on why there have been no updates from me on the forums or on the site. The biggest thing is that my day job has taken up a lot of my free time for the past few weeks.

As some of you know, I started a skunkworks project at Google a few years ago with a few colleagues on making it easier to build production-ready apps using AI. That project not only took off, it evolved into an official product a few weeks ago:

I’ve been busy with all of the various parts of that, and that has left me with very little free time to create content here.

Now, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been thinking about creating new content. I want to revise my old Canvas book with whole new content and refresh it for a modern era of creative coding. Still early days on that :slight_smile:

Let me get this straight: you just type in what app you want and this thing creates it for you? How complicated can your app be?

Wishing you continued success, and looking forward to seeing how the AI app-building tool evolves. Keep inspiring us!

Your app can be fairly complicated! Give it a shot and let me know what you’ve tried. My favorite are the kinds of apps that use the webcam and OCR to do fun things.
