What’s up with toys these days? I get home from school today, and my nephew (4yrs) just bought a new transformer toy that can transform into a car! “Awesome” I exclaimed and went to check it out. First of all, just lifting it up made me afraid I was going to break it. I then peeked at the manual, or whatever it’s called. 7 “easy” steps to convert it into a car. The 7 steps divided into 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F etc. My nephew then wanted me to make it into a car, because he couldn’t. He then went to get the additional parts… Having extra parts for a transformer takes away all the awesomeness of it transforming, because it’s technically rebuilding it into a car, not transforming it. After that it took me about an hour to “transform” it. An hour for Christ sakes! after like 40 minutes, my nephew said that he didn’t want it as a car, I of couse told him that we had to finish it first, now that we were so close. I finished, and to my horror found it to be a Toyota! No just kidding, I mean it was, but that wasn’t the thing that made mad. One door, the hood and one bumper didn’t close all the way. It did roll really well, I should probably mention that.
that actually felt pretty good =)
now if you excuse me, I have to rebuild a car into a robot…
