A friend of mine recently told me he had seen an ad for wireless broadband for PC’s/Laptops by Verizon. It was unlimited for about $50 a month.
My question for you is, has anyone else seen this? I looked on the Verizon site and couldn’t find any info. I don’t really care who the provider is, I just want to know if this service is available. I live in a rural area with dial-up as the only option. No cable. 
If this is available can you answer a few more questions about it:
Is it secure enough that I could buy items online?
Can it be used on a home network?
Could it be used for Xbox Live?
The main thing I want is the high-speed for my laptop for online courses and iTunes.
