Hi,
I am trying to fix my wireless internet on my laptop but after so many attempts nothing worked,
I have 2 laptops, both the same model ‘compaq, presario c700’ with xp installed on both
I have wireless router ‘us robotics’ and my first laptop connects to the internet and it is just perfect,
but my second laptop does connect but it does not browse the internet, no matter what site i try to access it doesn’t work
i tried to use the same dns on both laptops, the same ip, i tried to change the ending number of the ip so that there is no any conflicts but that didn’t work
i tried to set the ip settings to be obtained automaticly, but when i set obtain ip automaticly, my laptop gets stuck forever with ‘aquiring ip address’ message
I can’t understand what is the problem, I searched countless sites but non of the solutions worked,
Please I wish anyone could help,
