Wtf?

So im so happy I finally wrapped up this project…I figure now all I have to do is upload! Simple…not…for some odd reason my movie loops the intro upon finishing…I’ve checked everything and there’s a stop frame the looping is turned off when publishing I’ve checked everything! So i try exporting as flash 7…and it kind of works…but when i click on a button it replays the intro! Sweeeeeeeeeetsarcasm. Funny thing is it all works PERFECTLY on my hard drive if you want to see for yourself check out

Oh and exporting as flash 7 screws up my sound as well.

Sooo I’ve made some progress I embedded the swf into dreamweaver myself instead of letting flash export the html file and it now loads the homepage…now the only problem is when I click on a button it reloads the intro…wtf?

guess what just happened (my wtf for the day)

opened your file, clickin and pokin around and wham … drive locked up … force quit and reboot,

now ‘that’ drive is non existent (?) it may be awhile … :bad:

…btw, there wasn’t any “home.swf or fla” in yer zip so I couldn’t play through the whole deal … only the preload & intro…

works for me. I only made one small change. At the end of indexmx you had it calling main.swf when your fla is called mainmx so I just changed that to mainmx.swf and it works. Although you said it was working on your hard drive but not online and I don’t see how thats possible if you had it calling the wrong swf.

Anyways just to check and make sure it didn’t f’up when uploaded I uploaded it to my server and walla works.

note- some of the sounds aren’t there along with the background for mainmx becuase those files weren’t in the zip.

It’s possible, I sent you the wrong fla heh, sorry. Still having problems but I’ll figure it out.
