Ya ya, another fabulous XML gallery

So stringy got me motivated, and plus I wanted to learn about the lacoz tween. So here is what I built.

Preview here
Zip file here
<—For a limited time

Attached is also the fla. MX2004 or above ONLY. Code will not work in MX.

Couple things to note.
1: You need the lacoz tween to use this.
Download the component here.

2:The XML nodes are set up this way

<image color="0x8E94AF">
<description>image 1</description>
<pic>splat.jpg</pic>
<link>http://kirupa.com</link>
</image>

The image color is the main background color that transoforms from one color to another.
Description is of course the description of the image.
Pic is of course the image name.
Link is the link where you go when you click on the main image. If you want to a link to a bigger image or something.

3:This is set up to be full screen. I tried like the dickens to get the thumbs to scroll all the way across the bottom of the screen, but my math suks, so sorry, your stuck at viewing 7 thumbs at a time. Unless you are feeling brave and what to modify my code.

4: I gave you a ton of options to set Colors, border size, tween types, and tween times. To change these options, unlock the scroller layer, then double click the scroller movieClip. All the options you can change are in the AS layer.

5: Since I gave you these options, please dont come back saying, you need this, you need that. Im not doing this to be a jerk. Its that If I could have done it any better, or made it more dynamic and easy for you to use, I would have. So in other words, this is the best I can do. Plus its two in the morning and Im seeing double :cyclops:
I also didnt go all out on the graphics. I figured you would change things anyway. Big thanks goes out to kookaburra for helping figure out the thumbs tween :wink:
So enjoy :hugegrin:
