Thanx senocular on great tutorials on 3D for flash
Much time passed since I played with 3D stuff and I wonder if it’s worth doing it in Flash
3d-black is just flag waving with cos and sinus functions
3d-2-black is square functions of x and y
I am planning some complex experiments about modelling with functions and collision between 3d objects and so on…
but seeing how this math is done slow I wonder if I should really start learning Direct X
did anyone have thoughts when will Flash get good in 3D, or when will processors be strong enough to pull some real 3d engines in flash
taking advantege of clent resources would be nice
Nice work! Looks cool!
Although Ive given up on it now. My choice for in browser web 3d is Director MX. (NB: I havent read anything about its future with Adobe)
I almost bought Blitz3D for a 3d program cause its was only $100 USD and is about 10 times faster than director. you code in basic (and I think it compiles to C)

pretty kewl man
gj. killed my cpu though
tnx :rambo:
as I like interactivness of flash and net availability it’s hard for me to give up on flash
but I have too cause it’s slow,
I found some Flash players with integrated OpenGL
and I found also X3D and VRML good for web
I think that could be solution, I just need to find out how interactive X3D can be …
nice effects you should make some more
there are function on z in flash that are quoted and can be used for various results
